About Localmail

What is Localmail?

It is Databanx’s corporate email platform: professional email on your company’s domain (you@yourcompany.com), with a smart inbox, instant search, real security and a modern experience on desktop, web and mobile.

Is it just email, or are there more features?

Beyond email, you get contact management, standardized corporate signatures, labels and filters. Higher plans add admin and collaboration features for larger teams — see the details on the Plans page.

Do I need my own domain?

Ideally you use your company’s domain, and we help you set everything up. If you don’t have a domain yet, we guide you through registering one.

Migration and compatibility

Do you migrate my current email?

Yes. We run an assisted migration from providers like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and cPanel, bringing over your messages, contacts and history — with minimal disruption for your team.

Does it work with Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird?

Yes. Localmail supports IMAP, POP and SMTP, so it works with the main email apps, in addition to our webmail.

Can I access it on my phone?

Yes, on any device: the webmail is responsive and you can also set up your account in your phone’s mail app (iPhone or Android).

Where is my data stored?

In Brazil, in compliance with the LGPD. Your data does not leave the country.

What security does Localmail offer?

TLS encryption, two-factor authentication (2FA), antispam and antiphishing filters, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC protocols to protect your domain’s delivery and reputation.

What is the service uptime?

99.9% uptime, on infrastructure monitored 24 hours a day.

Plans and support

How much does it cost?

Plans start at R$ 10.90 per user/month on the annual cycle. Billing is per user, with no lock-in. See every plan and what each includes on the Plans page.

Is there a minimum number of users or a contract lock-in?

There is no minimum number of mailboxes and no lock-in — you adjust the number of users as your company grows and cancel whenever you want.
